Mariela the Midnight Mermaid was born on February 23rd at the stroke of midnight. Mariela’s ethereal voice shines like the sea itself–if ever she she is lonely, all she has to do is is hum a few notes and her ocean friends race to be by her side! She has been approached many times by prestigious schools of fish looking to hire a music director, but she is too free-spirited to be caught up a permanent position. Mariela does float in from time to time for tutoring as a substitute teacher, but usually she spends her days (and nights) singing the song of the ocean and twirling with the jellies… Favorite time: midnight.
